On the programme: Saturday 01 June 2024: - 2pm to 4.30pm: The understanding of the birds in Un jardin philosophe, by Christophe Formery and Joëlle Kuhne: In 2023, Christophe Formery and Joëlle Kuhne used gentle methods to teach the birds in the garden to sing, using a collection of 18th-century music. This spring, they are continuing their work by incorporating the exercise of reason into this learning process. - 4.30pm: "D'Allerletcht Bluem - La toute dernière fleur": actor Gilbert Meyer, founder of the Tohu Bohu theatre, presents a show inspired by the book La dernière fleur by James Thurber. The performance will be bilingual, mixing French and Alsatian for a universal understanding. - 2pm to 7pm: Irène Schnabel is, among other things, an expert in gardening, and shares the plants in her garden as well as her various action plans. Her energy is invigorating, her optimism infectious, and her cheerful speeches a model for others. Let's hear it! - 2pm to 7pm: Théâtre Tohu-Bohu excels in recycling, cross-dressing and manipulating objects. Jean-Paul Lefeuvre and Didier André are circus artists of an unusual kind: their “slow circus” aims at minimalism, making full use of the props found in their studio. The stage becomes a vast playing area, their goal a gentle and infectiously funny situational poetry.This show is a visual and sensory play. It reaches us in ways that are different from either spoken or written language. One can fully enjoy this show with little or no knowledge of the French language.Vingt ans de complicité et un amour sans fin de la blague bien faite qui ne tolère pas le compromis. Jean-Paul Lefeuvre et Didier André sont des circassiens pas comme les autres qui revendiquent une forme d’artisanat laborieux et modeste. Leur “slow cirque” aspire à un minimalisme exploitant jusqu’au trognon les accessoires trouvés au fond de leur atelier. Avec une planche, une truelle, une boule de pétanque ou une masse de chantier dans les mains, le duo envoie du bois avec une dextérité follement méticuleuse. Ces banals ustensiles prennent rapidement vie sur une scène devenant tour à tour terrain de pétanque, court de tennis ou billard géant.
